Meet Your Coaches

Certified. Experienced. Results-driven.

Every FitForge trainer holds national certification, a specialty credential, and at least 5 years of in-person coaching experience. We don't hire instructors - we hire coaches.

Marcus Okafor

Head Trainer & Co-Founder

Certification

NASM-CPT, NASM-PES

Experience

10 years, 200+ clients

Specialties

Strength & conditioning, body composition

Background

D1 track & field athlete, University of Texas

Marcus grew up competing in track and field at the University of Texas, where he discovered that the difference between athletes at the same fitness level came down to programming quality. After graduating, he went straight into coaching rather than corporate - and hasn't looked back.

He founded FitForge in 2018 with one simple premise: most gym-goers never reach their potential because they're following programs built for someone else. Marcus builds everything from scratch for each client and sits with you through every session to make sure the program is actually working.

Outside the studio, Marcus competes in recreational powerlifting meets and coaches a youth track team at a local high school. He has a particular soft spot for clients over 40 who have been told their best days are behind them.

Destiny Reyes, Performance Coach at FitForge

Destiny Reyes

Performance & Nutrition Coach

Certification

NSCA-CSCS, Precision Nutrition Level 2

Experience

8 years, 150+ athletes coached

Specialties

Sports performance, nutrition periodization

Background

Kinesiology, University of Colorado

Destiny came to personal training through sports science - she has a BS in Kinesiology from CU Boulder and spent three years working with collegiate strength and conditioning programs before opening her own coaching practice.

Her approach to nutrition is firmly evidence-based: no cleanses, no elimination diets, no supplements that aren't supported by research. What she does provide is a sustainable macro framework built around your food preferences, training demands, and schedule - and the accountability check-ins to make it stick.

Destiny works primarily with endurance athletes, competitive CrossFit competitors, and clients who want measurable body composition change. She is the nutrition lead for every FitForge program regardless of track.

Jordan Kim, Post-Rehab Specialist at FitForge, arms crossed in a studio portrait

Jordan Kim

Post-Rehab & Corrective Exercise Specialist

Certification

NASM-CES, NASM-CPT

Experience

6 years post-rehab specialization

Specialties

Post-surgical rehab, corrective exercise

Background

Physical therapy assistant, St. David's Rehab

Jordan spent four years as a physical therapy assistant at St. David's Rehabilitation Hospital before joining FitForge. That background gives her an unusually precise understanding of injury mechanics, surgical recovery timelines, and when it is and isn't safe to push.

Her clients are people who have been cleared by a surgeon or PT and are ready to get strong again - but aren't sure how to get back to the gym without undoing their rehab. Jordan bridges that gap and builds programs that respect surgical restrictions while progressively returning full function.

She has particular expertise in ACL reconstruction, rotator cuff repair, and lumbar fusion post-surgical strength training. She coordinates directly with clients' surgical teams when needed.
